2009/2010 Fire Restrictions Season commenced 1st September 2009.  

This means you will need to obtain a permit to burn during this period, except for a camp/cooking fire.  Should there be a Total Fire Ban in place, then no fires are allowed during that period of time.   If the weather conditions become extreme during the summer months, i.e. high temperature, high winds, please check with the relevant authority before lighting up. 
From 1st September, you can apply for a permit for pile burning by contacting any one of the following people.

31 Wednesday 31 March, 10am to 12 pm Putty Playgroup Putty Playgroup meets every fortnight at the Putty Hall between 10am to 12pm for mothers with young children to socialise, share and play. 20 Tuesday 20 April 11am to 2pm  Ladies Day at Putty Hall  Putty Valley Ladies' Days are held on the third Tuesday of the month as a social get together, book and plant exchange and for the sharing of interests such as arts and crafts.   The Putty Hall will be open at 11am.   All welcome, bring-a-plate and join in.   Enquiries: Jacquie O'Brien 6579 7159

25 Sunday 25 April ANZAC Day  The ANZAC Day ceremony at the Putty Hall at 10am will focus on the 95th anniversary of the landings at Gallipoli and the commencement of the Gallipoli campaign. More details soon.

23 Sunday 23 April Antipodean Mandolin Ensemble The Antipodean Mandolin Ensemble will play at the Putty Hall at 2.00pm. Local musician, Martha Babineau, is a member of the group who will travel to Germany to attend a music festival. The event is a fundraiser for their trip. More details soon
